Conclusions

  • iOS avoids viewport settings on .mobi TLD
  • Android WebView is bigger flicker and troublemaker than IE6
  • No JavaScript or less as possible, no frameworks, use native standards
  • Scalable, modular, responsive design without design related images
  • Don't execute any JavaScript without a special need
  • Improve rendering performance by not using border-radius, box-shadow and flexbox
  • As less server requests as possible, do instant transparent requests in order to improve UX and not affect performance
